Turn the gas knob on the gas valve to the pilot setting press it in and hold it light the pilot while holding the gas knob down and once lit hold it down for a full minute. Look for the gas control valve on the back near the bottom left of the unit and the tube for the pilot should come off it. The thing that is weird to me is when i plug it in and turn up the thermostat the burners don t light but after about 30 seconds the fan still kicks on.
